Gri Koridor

Tarih, kimlik ve yer-değiştirme gibi kavramlarla biçimlenen Gri Koridor, Çağrı Saray’ın spesifik olarak tamamen yabancısı olduğu bir kent için ürettiği yeni işleri kapsıyor. Bu işler; kentin belleğine dair gerçekleştirilmiş bir dizi araştırma ve eskizi içeriyor. Kentin tarihiyle kişisel tarihin çarpıştığı bir an’a odaklanan işler, bitmiş işten çok zamansız ve bir sürecin izlerini yansıtıyor.

Grey Corridor 

Grey Corridor which is formed by the concepts like history, memory and re-location consists of the recent works produced spesificly for the city, in where Çağrı Saray is a complete stranger. These works include researches and sketchs about the memory of the city. The works, focused to the exact moment where the personal history crashes with the city’s history, reflect the timeless impression of the city rather than a finished work.

İçerideki Ölçülebilir Sıcaklık

Çağrı Saray’ın Paris’teki Gri Koridor isimli sergisine parallel olarak gerçekleştireceği “Ölçülebilir Sıcaklık” isimli sergi, karanlık pasajlardan bir “eve dönüş hikayesi”ni içeriyor. Hafıza, aidiyet ve mahremiyet gibi kavramlara odaklanan sergi, ölçülebilir olan sıcaklığın bu kez dereceler, cetveller ve sayılar olmaksızın yeniden tarif edildiği bir mekanın kapılarını aralıyor.

The Measurable Temperature Inside

In parallel to Cagri Saray’s “Grey Corridor” at the Cité International des Arts, “The Measurable Temperature Inside”, enfold a story of “going back home” through dark passageways. The exhibition explores the concepts of memory, belonging and intimacy and open doors to a space where the measurable temperature is re-defined without degrees, rulers and numbers. 

Story; about the existence of an observer, and the walls closing into themselves.
