Bekleme Odası
“Bekleme Odasi” adlı projenin ilk enstalasyonu, bir daktilo, bir yazi masasi ve bir
bayragin bulundugu bir odada hafizasini; gecmisini ve gunahlarini
hatirlamayan bir adamin video goruntusunden olusmaktaydı.
İkinci enstalasyon ise, ana karakterin 1/1 stop-motion videosu, hikayenin el yazımla yazılmış senaryosu ve bir üniformdan oluşmakta.
Tek bir kisinin gecmisiyle yuzlesmesi, bir toplumun veya bir milletin
gecmisiyle yuzlesmesi anlamina gelebilir mi? Birey kisisel tarihini yeniden
olusturabilir mi?
Bekleme Odasi’nda, burada ve su an “beklemek”, eylemin kendisine
donusurken, “bekleyen adam”in gecmisin hayaletlerinden kurtulmasi ve
kendi dogasina direnmesi ne kadar mumkun olabilir?

The Waiting Room
First installation of the Project “The Waiting Room” is composed of the video of man who can not remember his memories; his past and sins in a room with a typewriter, a desk, and a flag.
This second part of the Project “The Waiting Room” includes 1/1 stop-motion video of the main character and the script of the whole story with my own handwriting, a military uniform on the hanger and ethcings as proofs of the process of “waiting”.
Can an individual facing his past, mean a community or a nation facing its past? Can a person reconstruct his personal history? What are the odds of the “waiting man ” to break loose from the ghosts of the past and to resist his own nature while “waiting” here and now becomes attitude?
